Bernie says:

Hello James,
Both you and your son are most welcome to join the HAA. Our monthly meetings vary in the types of presentations that are offered but we do try to have a bit of info for everyone.
We also extend a welcome to all members of the club and the public at our regular Outreach events. attendees are encouraged to bring their scopes to the event and learn from one another.
Our Membership information is offered on our website at under the heading ‘About: Membership.’

James Whyte says:

I would like to join your club as well as my 8 year old son. We have a basic understanding of astronomy and a 10 inch reflector telescope. Could you advise how to join the club and is my son old enough to be a member?
