Rare Jupiter Event Tonight!

Now that's an impressive set of moon-Jupiter associations. I bet it's harder to impress people with the concept of seeing Jupiter at it's most boring appearance. Glad to know it cannot get any worse. Of course, being there for the start and end of the process, and detecting the various transitions, is where the fun is. Thanks for spotting this one, John, and letting us know. I will be in Europe... i might be able to spot Jupiter from my location in the early morning before sunrise. So i will watch for reports. I hope the skies are clear here.
