Tim Harpur's astro-photos

I got a good glimpse of the moon last night [2005-11-08] (for the first time since getting my 25x100 binnoculars). I decided to try my basic 4 MPixel camera through the binnoculars - just aimed through one of the eyepieces - and was rather pleased with the results - although they still don't do justice to the view seen when actually looking through them. This one is unprocessed, see the next image for a processed view (improved contrast and de-saturated).
